About The Position

This is a full-time position at KARM Stores, Oak Ridge (Turnpike). The role involves accepting donations, presorting, and pricing merchandise. The department hours are 9a - 6p, with some Saturdays required. The position offers career growth opportunities, a 25% employee discount, and eligibility for a 90-day raise. Requirements

Ability to write in legible, clear handwriting.
Commitment to KARM Stores’ mission and mission statement.
Computer skills including general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.
Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions and goals provided in written or oral form.
Must become proficient in production to meet established goals.
Ability to stand up to 100% of a standard work day.
Ability to perform lifting and bending up to 75% of a standard work day.
Moderate to heavy physical activity, potentially requiring frequent strenuous activity.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Perform daily job duties within the processing team and department, including accepting donations, presorting, and pricing merchandise.
Achieve daily and weekly production goals set by the manager, including the company goal of 35 pieces produced per hour.
Produce quick and accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
Assist the team by living out the KARM Stores Mission (Reveal, Tell & Provide) and carrying out Core Values (Trustworthy, Team-Minded, Teachable).
