About The Position

Under the direction of the Territory Manager, this role oversees the day-to-day operations of multiple Donation Xpress locations. Key responsibilities include scheduling, managing attendance, covering call-outs, and filling shift openings. While working in a Donation Xpress center, the individual will be responsible for receiving donations, issuing receipts, assisting with lifting items, and auditing processes.

Requirements

  • Ability to adhere to the organization’s Core Principles.
  • Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
  • Ability to listen and follow directions.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of textiles articles as related to garment classification (gowns, shirts, pants, etc.).
  • Must have high degree of integrity and business ethics.
  • Must be prompt, dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including weekends.
  • Must not represent a direct threat to the safety and health of self, others or property.
  • Must be able to travel from one (1) Donation Xpress Center to another as needed.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record and current private auto insurance policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties outlined in the Donation Xpress Attendant job description.
  • Oversee the day to day operations of multiple Donation Xpress locations.
  • Create work schedules for Donation Xpress attendants to ensure proper coverage.
  • Cover call outs and fill in shift openings as needed.
  • Maintain well groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Conduct required audits in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the training of new Donation Xpress employees.
  • Assist in providing inter-departmental training as requested by Director of Donor Services.
  • Work with other departments within Retail Services to ensure an effective and efficient operation.
  • Evaluate performance of department personnel as requested including performance appraisals.
  • Compile special data as requested by the Director of Donor Services.
  • Manage time system software for all assigned employees.
  • Act as Safety Captain for multiple locations.
  • Maintain supply inventory for multiple locations.
  • Maintain records such as daily reports, donor receipts or other records as needed.
  • Keep immediate supervisor informed of problems and suggestions.
  • Follow Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) procedures and other Public Protection Guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Donor Services.
