About The Position

At Goodwill Industries of Central Florida (GICF), the Donation Express Attendant provides excellent customer service while receiving donated treasures through the generosity of donors. This role involves providing donors with receipts, sorting donated items, and assisting with loading donations for transport. GICF has a six-decade history of providing job training, job placement services, and other support services to empower individuals to achieve their fullest potential and thrive economically. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the donation center.
• Greeting each donor with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Receiving donations while issuing donation receipts.
• Assisting donors with lifting items in and out of their vehicles.
• Sorting donations in accordance with all GICF policies and procedures.
• Adhering to all safety and cleanliness standards.
• Assisting in loading GICF trucks with donated items as needed.
