About The Position

This role is a front-line position representing Goodwill Industries to the public, with primary duties including the receipt, recording, and sorting of donations to effectively process them through the Kaizen system. The position requires full compliance with Kaizen guidelines and principles.

Requirements

• Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side, lean, kneel, or bend.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to see and recognize colors.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Ability to lift at least forty (40) pounds on a frequent and continuous basis.
• Ability to occasionally team lift up to (100) pounds.
• Willingness to work occasionally where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.

Nice To Haves

• High School graduate or its equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail and/or stock handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service skills.
• Receive, record, and sort donations to effectively process through the Kaizen system.
• Represent Goodwill Industries to the public.
• Ensure full compliance to Kaizen guidelines/principles as outlined in the audit and 5-minute drills.
• Process donations.
• Perform cleaning tasks.
• Provide customer service.
• Maintain building fixtures/equipment.
• Perform other duties as instructed by immediate supervisors.
