About The Position

The Donation Center Attendant is responsible for receiving donations from donors, tracking and weighing donations, and sharing information about the organization's charity partners and mission. This role involves working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, and safely loading and unloading trailers and donation boxes. The team works together to care for donated items and provide treasures for customers, combining a passion for donors and community service.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Provide outstanding customer service to all donors.

Responsibilities

Receive donated clothing, shoes, and household goods through the drive-thru at the Fixed Donation Center.
Engage with donors and communicate the impact of their donations on the community, partners, and planet.
Interact with truck drivers and other team members to organize and recycle donations in indoor and outdoor situations.
Help sustain and maintain a clean and orderly Fixed Donation Center according to company operational standards.
Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading donor vehicles and box trucks.
Regularly work in heat, cold, and wet weather conditions.
Load and unload carts.
Inspect and sort clothing, shoes, and other items.
Prepare and organize products for recycling.
Perform other duties as assigned by a working supervisor.
