About The Position

One Love Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Violence Counselor / Trauma Therapist to join our growing team in Twin Falls. This position focuses on providing trauma-informed counseling services to individuals impacted by domestic violence, abuse, and related mental health challenges. At One Love Agency, our mission is to instill hope through collaborative and individualized care. Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Idaho license as an LPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or be a Master's-level provider working toward licensure.
  • Experience providing therapy and counseling services to individuals with diverse backgrounds and mental health needs.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and professional standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with survivors of domestic violence, trauma, sexual assault, or victim services.
  • Training in trauma-focused treatment modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, CPT, DBT, or similar approaches.
  • Experience utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, insurance billing, and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy services utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Support clients in identifying goals, building coping skills, and improving overall mental wellness.
  • Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with community partners, victim advocates, healthcare providers, and other members of the treatment team.
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Stay informed regarding current research, best practices, and emerging trends in trauma treatment and domestic violence services.
