About The Position

The Experienced Domestic Service Technician is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of technicians in the efficient and effective repair and maintenance of vehicles. This role involves diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, performing routine maintenance, and staying current on the latest automotive technology. The technician will also assign tasks, provide technical guidance, train and develop other technicians, communicate with customers, manage inventory, and maintain a safe work area.

Requirements

• Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 2+ years of Domestic Technician experience
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive problems.
• Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• ASE or Audi technician certifications a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension systems
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Stay current on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
• Assign tasks to technicians based on skill level and experience
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and quality oversight to the technician team
• Train and develop technicians to grow their capabilities
• Communicate repair status clearly and professionally to customers
• Complete all required documentation including repair orders and work estimates
• Manage parts and supplies inventory
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
