The Domain Architect will develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture roadmap, aligning capabilities and investments with business strategy, AI initiatives, and enterprise technology objectives. This role involves designing and governing enterprise data architecture, including data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse architecture, streaming platforms, and cloud-native data services. The architect will also design and govern enterprise data products, ensuring data assets are discoverable, reusable, interoperable, and aligned to business capabilities and domain ownership models. Additionally, they will develop and govern data models, standards, metadata, and data governance practices that support operational, analytical, and AI/ML use cases. The role requires architecting data integration patterns and data platforms that support operational, analytical, and AI-driven workloads, and leading data architecture governance, including reference architecture, architectural reviews, technology standards, and exception management. Collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, engineers, and enterprise architects is key to aligning data architecture with business objectives and enterprise standards. The architect will evaluate and recommend data technologies, platforms, and architectural approaches to balance business value, risk, cost, and long-term sustainability, while ensuring data security, privacy, regulatory compliance, resiliency, and disaster recovery requirements are incorporated into architectural designs.
