About The Position
Holiday Barn Pet Resorts is seeking a canine day care associate or kennel attendant for a rewarding career involving playing with dogs. This active, hands-on role includes supervising doggie play groups, maintaining play areas, interacting with various dog breeds, and observing their behaviors. Holiday Barn Pet Resorts has over 50 years of experience in pet care enrichment and operates two locations in Richmond, Virginia: Glen Allen and Midlothian. All communication will be via email to keep lobbies and phone lines clear for pet parents.
Requirements
- Responsible, energetic, and hardworking dog lover.
- Willing to work weekends and major holidays.
- Availability to work opening and closing shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Organizing stimulating activities for dogs.
- Setting up the camp area for dog enrichment activities and play.
- Daily cleaning and organizing.
- Working outdoors and with a variety of dogs, regardless of weather.
- Working weekends and major holidays.
- Availability to work opening and closing shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
