About The Position
Holiday Barn Pet Resorts is looking for a canine day care associate or kennel attendant who is looking for a rewarding canine career. This fun, active, and hands-on job with dogs requires supervising doggie play groups, maintaining play areas, interacting with different dog breeds, and observing behaviors. Holiday Barn Pet Resorts has over 50 years of experience in pet care enrichment with two locations in Richmond, Virginia - Glen Allen and Midlothian.
Requirements
- Responsible, energetic, and hardworking dog lover.
- Willing to work weekends and major holidays.
- Availability to work opening and closing shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Interest in working outdoors and with a variety of dogs, regardless of weather.
Responsibilities
- Organizing stimulating activities for dogs.
- Setting up our camp area for dog enrichment activities and play.
- Daily cleaning and organizing.
- Supervising doggie play groups.
- Maintaining play areas.
- Interacting with different dog breeds.
- Observing behaviors.
