About The Position

Pup Culture is hiring dog walkers/pet sitters in the Twin Cities service area. This is a part-time position perfect for freelancers, entrepreneurs, artists, retirees, stay-at-home parents, or anyone looking for a career working with animals and who has availability during the weekdays. The role involves providing safe, individualized dog walks and cat sitting services to over 400 active clients. The company is a woman-owned, highly-rated pet care business that values client connections, pet safety, integrity, honesty, teamwork, inclusivity, communication, and providing an exceptional client experience.

Requirements

Excellent time management skills.
Ability to work independently and be resourceful.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong animal intuition skills.
Must be an animal-lover with endless patience for animals.
Availability between 10:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday-Friday.
Availability for one weekend per quarter (four times a year).
Ability to make a long-term commitment.
Must have a smart phone and computer with internet access.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must live in or near the service area.
Flexible schedule.
Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Perform 4-10 dog walks or pet sitting visits per day, often back-to-back within a specific timeframe.
Provide safe and individualized dog walks and cat sitting services.
Communicate clearly with clients through notes and updates via the company system.
Communicate clearly with staff.
Walk in all weather conditions.
