About The Position
Tailchasers Barrington Pet Resort is hiring reliable, attentive, and motivated pet lovers to join their team. No previous experience is required as training will be provided. This role involves supervising and managing dog playgroups, providing pet spa services, maintaining cleanliness of kennels and lodging areas, feeding pets, administering medications, and reinforcing basic dog training commands. The position requires working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, and standing for most of the shift.
Requirements
- US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US
- Able to pass a background check
- 16 years of age or older
- Friendly and professional with customers
- Dependable, teachable, and flexible
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to stand for up to 6 hours at a time
- Basic computer/tablet skills
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage dog playgroups
- Provide pet spa services (baths, nail trims/grinds, teeth brushing, ear cleaning)
- Keep kennels and pet lodging areas clean and sanitized
- Feed pets and administer medications as directed
- Help reinforce basic dog training commands (sit, stay, wait)
