About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a full range of professional grooming services to ensure the health, safety, comfort, and well-being of every animal in our care. You will handle and care for both small and large dogs, manage appointments, and interact with pet owners, providing excellent customer service. This position also involves assisting in the growth of the grooming business and maintaining a clean and sanitary salon environment.

Requirements

• Previous professional dog grooming experience required.
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards and techniques.
• Ability to safely handle dogs of various breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality grooming services.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Genuine passion for animal care and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services, including brushing, bathing, hair cutting, trimming, styling, ear cleaning, teeth cleaning, nail trimming and grinding, and anal gland expression.
• Safely handle and care for both small and large dogs throughout the grooming process.
• Ensure the health, safety, comfort, and well-being of every animal in your care.
• Utilize professional grooming equipment, including clippers, shears, dryers, and nail grinders, while maintaining equipment in good working condition.
• Manage grooming appointments and maintain an organized daily schedule.
• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service to pet owners.
• Assist in growing the grooming business by greeting customers, making appointment reminder calls, and promoting grooming services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming salon by performing routine housekeeping and following all safety and sanitation standards.
