Requirements

Graduate of a grooming school OR 2+ years of professional grooming experience
Proficiency in breed-standard cuts and grooming techniques
Must supply your own professional grooming tools
Adherence of salon safety procedures and industry standards
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

Perform grooming and styling per pet parent requests and breed standards with consistency and professionalism.
Complete all aspects of grooming (brushing, bathing, nail trims, etc.) to ensure pets look and feel their best.
Monitor pets in your care, follow handling best practices, and respond appropriately to signs of stress or health concerns.
Build trust with neighbors by providing excellent service, clear communication, and thoughtful product/service recommendations.
Keep grooming areas sanitary, organized, and inviting in alignment with safety and animal care standards.
