About The Position

Requirements

A love for animals, particularly dogs, and a passion for their well-being.
Knowledge of basic animal behavior and group dynamics.
Strength and stamina to interact with active dogs of all sizes.
A client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to multitask and follow directions with or without supervision.
Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Leading and monitoring group play sessions.
Utilizing low-stress handling techniques to care for dogs.
Performing daily cleaning of kennels, cages, and public areas following disease control protocols.
Bathing dogs and assisting with grooming needs.
Communicating with clients to build trust and lasting relationships.
Documenting updates and keeping the Center Director informed of dog behavior, health, and concerns.
Stocking and maintaining cleaning supplies and ensuring the environment is tidy and organized.
