About The Position

Provide hybrid (in-person/work from home) advice to business/client units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters. Initiate, track and monitor contract changes, deliverables, correspondence and risks, and maintain associated documentation. This role includes, but is not limited the following: Responds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions. Identifies risks and issues, suggests alternatives that lead to the best solution. Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met. Prepares and disseminates information regarding proposals, contract status, compliance, modifications, etc. Manage the contract day-to-day by advising on the strategic direction, contract interpretation and consequences of action / inaction. Proactively resolve issues and disputes, minimize potential for litigation and foster protection of our reputation. Act as a liaison between the client, project team and/or business unit and Legal ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed. Responsible for implementation of CM processes. Acts as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly. Acts as liaison between our company and clients/vendors. Responsible for informing the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance. Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement. Achieves a reasonable level of understanding of major business areas (System Integration and/or Outsourcing) in order to communicate effectively with project Sr. Executives and provide relevant advice. May provide training to Contract Management or program personnel.

Requirements

  • 5 years of Contract Management experience to include negotiations experience
  • 4 years experience in a government contracting environment
  • Knowledge of DFAR
  • Experience managing in a fast paced workload environment
  • Can sit in Chantilly or Arlington
