About The Position

This position is accountable for administering and implementing the documentation reviews on all contracts awarded by the Department of Transportation under Bureau of Construction supervision. This position is responsible for ensuring the proper documentation from Construction and Materials Management System (CMMS) projects pertinent for final acceptance have been uploaded and submitted by department and contractor personnel.

Requirements

  • Completion of two years of college in civil engineering technology, pre-engineering or a job related technical/science curriculum PLUS five years of engineering experience OR seven years of engineering experience.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license.
  • Requires successful completion of a background screening.
  • District-wide and occasional state-wide travel.

Responsibilities

  • Administers and implements policies, procedures and final documentation of contracts awarded by the Department of Transportation under the Bureau of Construction supervision.
  • Processes final papers on all complete construction projects in the district.
  • Compiles, processes, and distributes annual contractor's rating reports.
  • Processes central Office of Finance and Administration project reports which then enables project completion.
  • Performs duties in compliance with department safety rules.
  • Performs all duties in a manner conducive to the fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
