About The Position

GDIT is a leading systems integrator in the Zero Trust Defense sector, developing and delivering innovative solutions to government customers. This role is on an Enterprise Zero Trust Program for a DoW Client, focusing on creating Cybersecurity solutions. The Documentation Specialist will be responsible for writing and editing policies, standard operating procedures, and technical guides, ensuring they are clear, concise, and accurate. The role also involves reviewing existing documents for accuracy and compliance, managing sensitive information securely, and creating visualizations such as data flow, network diagrams, and charts. The specialist will track documentation for the ATO process and collaborate with various departments within the DoW to ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date, meeting all DoW requirements and relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience developing Air Force Time Compliance Technical Orders - or Technical Orders (TCTO's and TO's) and Telecommunication Survey Installation Plan (TSIP) and Installation Plan (I-Plan)
  • Familiarity with AF time compliance technical orders - or technical orders (TCTO's and TO's) and TSIP's telecommunication survey installation plan and I-plans installation plan.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple documents, versions, and revisions effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with teams and conveying information clearly.
  • Familiarity with document management systems, software like Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant tools.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to documentation.
  • Professional demeanor and work ethic.
  • Understanding of DoW standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with DoW documentation classification markings and handling of classified materials.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoW eMass system for ATO applications.
  • Current Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in field like English, Communications, Information Technology, or Business Administration

Responsibilities

  • Writing and editing policies, standard operating procedures, and technical guides to provide clients with clear, concise, and accurate documentation.

  • Ensure that all documentation, whether paper or digital, meets DoW requirements and relevant regulations.
