About The Position

As part of the Sales Operations Department, the Documentation Specialist will assist the Sales Team on various facets of transaction processing. This involves creating and verifying the documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures so we can process with the disbursement. They will have to communicate with our external partners and internal teams (credit, customer service, audit and accounting) to get additional information, obtains or make corrections on documents, provide support or clarifications.

Requirements

  • Understanding of PPSA/RDPRM registration as Search review process
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must show evidence of initiative, proactivity, and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, take initiative.
  • Capability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions
  • Excellent human relations, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
  • Bilingual(French/English)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with account managers so that the specialized documentation process (from document creation to funding) runs smoothly.
  • Creation, Integration, and preparation of Funding Packages for Specialized Transactions
  • Register PPSA/RDPRM filings within the parameter of each Province’s regulations
  • Verifying pricing and tax treatment
  • Work with credit/legal counsel to ensure all conditions have been met prior to submitting the file for verification and final audit.
  • Pull/Order and review lien searches as required and prepare any cession or rank, subordination or releases as needed
  • Carry out the usual verifications to ensure data compliance for Core transactions(v2);
  • Providing coaching and feedback to the Account managers when validating their submissions to optimize the efficiency of the structured documentation process.
  • Manage expectations and priorities with internal partners.
  • Assisting in preparation and updates to Policies & Procedures documentation as required
  • Provide ongoing support to our internal/external partners and credit on various issues that may arise.
  • Any other related tasks
