About The Position

Reporting to the Office Manager, the DOC clerk will be responsible for directing all incoming calls and visitors to the facility and performing clerical duties as required. Requirements

  • Basic clerical/administrative skills
  • Pleasant telephone manner with strong customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to deal with tight timelines
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite of applications
  • Must provide a complete and current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one

Responsibilities

  • Greeting visitors, determine purpose of visit and direct visitors to proper location as appropriate.
  • Answer telephone and place outgoing calls as requested
  • Maintain records as required and perform clerical work as assigned
  • Monitor front door for wandering residents
  • Adhere to established department policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire safety, environment and infection control
  • Workday Validation, Point Click Care Entry, Census Back up person for Time tracking, Scheduling
  • Help with Invoices
  • Filing
  • Preparing Vendor Contracts
  • Other duties as assigned
