About The Position

This role is for a Document Scanner responsible for electronically scanning all dealer remittances from all departments to the server.

Requirements

  • A minimum completion of Highschool Diploma is Required.
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), is required.
  • Fluent in English with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is required.
  • Moderate lifting and moving of bankers’ boxes (approx. 35lb).
  • Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background check, education verification, and employment reference checks is required before employment.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 6 months working in an office environment is an asset.
  • Fluent in French with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Create electronic copies of remittances for Credit Insurance, Mechanical Breakdown Insurance, Replacement Insurance, and ancillary products on a daily basis.
  • Receive inter-department emails and complete tasks for file management.
  • Correspond with external customers regarding financial transactions.
  • Monitor scanned documents for visual clarity, positioning, and completion.
  • Scan required documentation and files for various departments.
  • Complete monthly audits to ensure file accuracy and completion.
  • Carry and move bankers' boxes as required for shredding (both at the main location and offsite location).
  • Perform other duties as required.
