About The Position
Responsible for converting paper records to electronic images utilizing health information system modules. Responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies necessary for electronic medical record processes. Assists in release of information processes, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One year of healthcare experience.
- Proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date, given training and on-the-job experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Health Information Technology.
- One or more years of experience in a Health Information Management (HIM) Department.
