About The Position

The Document Controller is responsible for the timely, accurate, and efficient preparation and management of documents. This role involves controlling the numbering, sorting, filing, handling, storing, tracking, and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams, projects, or departments of Redpath USA Corporation and/or clients. The incumbent ensures compliance with document lifecycle procedures and archives records in accordance with record retention policies and procedures. Additionally, the Document Controller receives and processes Requests for Information (RFIs) from employees or clients, maintaining these requests via tracking logs and creating new templates as RFI procedures are updated.

Requirements

  • Control the numbering, sorting, filing, handling, storing, tracking, and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents.
  • Ensure compliance with document lifecycle procedures.
  • Archive records in accordance with record retention policies and procedures.
  • Receive and process Requests for Information, or RFIs, from employees or clients.
  • Maintain the requests via tracking logs.
  • As RFI procedures are updated, create new templates.
