About The Position

The primary purpose of this job is to perform a full range of administrative and general office duties of a responsible and confidential nature. This role coordinates and processes documentation relating to process, procedural, and design changes that affect parts and assemblies. The Document Control Coordinator will manage and maintain electronic engineering documentation and data systems, and provide administrative support for the quality department.

Requirements

  • Two-year degree in technical field or business OR high school graduate (equivalent) with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Previous experience in Engineering Documentation Control Systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and all safety and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements as required within your location.
  • Perform full range of administrative and general office duties of a responsible and confidential nature.
  • Coordinate and process documentation relating to process, procedural and design changes that affect parts and assemblies.
  • Organize and maintain files and records, following up on pending matters.
  • Prepare special reports, gathering information and summarizing data.
  • Organize and expedite flow of work through supervisor’s office. Initiate follow-up action.
  • Prepare change request for Change Requests (CRs) and maintain records of same.
  • Provide and obtain information from other personnel or outside representatives for routine inquiries or periodic reports.
  • Issue, expedite and maintain control of final and revised prototype and production release documents.
  • Assist in preparation and generation of various documents such as Bill of Materials, routings, Standard Operating Procedures and other associated process documentation.
  • Manage and maintain electronic engineering documentation and data systems.
  • Perform a variety of administrative support for the quality department.
  • Perform other functions as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
