About The Position

The NISC IV Training Group (NTG) within the Leidos Federal Civil IT group is looking for a Document Analyst to support the Office of Administration and Executive Secretariat. This exciting opportunity on the National Airspace (NAS) Implementation Support (NISC IV) contract is high-profile work in a dynamic and exciting environment. The position is responsible for ensuring requirements and milestones are being met and monitoring and reporting performance. The successful candidate will work independently to achieve objectives with significant impact on operational results, develop solutions to problems and issues that are unclear and require thorough analyses and understanding, and be responsible for audits and reviews of work done in other FAA organizations. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of government practices and approaches. Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders across FAA, Department of Transportation (DOT), and other federal agencies. Directly responsible for the development and finalization of all documents delivered to the Chief Administrative Officer, internal and external stakeholders, as well as Congressional hearings. Utilize internal systems (e.g., SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, E2, Concur, or agency-specific tools) to manage workflows and communication. Conduct in-depth research to lead and/or support FAA staff with special projects and routine tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 to 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to proof, edit, and finalize official documents using independent discretion on completion and disbursement
  • Ability to communicate to various levels of management
  • Capacity to multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with editing and proofreading official documents
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working in federal government contracting
  • Working knowledge of FAA systems
  • Working knowledge of Adobe
