About The Position

Voyageur Aviation Corp. delivers innovative solutions to customers with unique aviation requirements. They are an integrated provider of specialized aviation services, including advanced engineering and maintenance capabilities, part sales and logistics management, aircraft leasing, and contract flying operations both internationally and domestically supporting humanitarian missions, cargo, and workforce movements to remote communities. Their headquarters are in North Bay, Ontario, and they are a wholly owned subsidiary of Chorus Aviation Inc. The Document Administrator position is responsible for controlling, editing, formatting, distributing, and maintaining the Company’s Compendium of Policies and Procedures documents and training programs. Additionally, this position provides support to the Safety & Risk Management Systems functions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration or related field.
  • Post-secondary education in document/records management, office administration, library science or related field.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Knowledge and experience with Adobe Acrobat, DocuShare, OneNote, Visio, SharePoint and Access.
  • Detail oriented, self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Effective verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work for a Canadian company, provide a clear criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Control of the Compendium of Policies and Procedures (CPP)
  • Maintenance and Control of company training programs (presentations, tests, and supporting documentation)
  • Review changes to documentation for adherence to company standards and administrative errors
  • Process and format changes to documentation for adherence to company standards
  • Provide annual document review notification to document owners
  • Provide copies of master documents to document owners or delegates for amendments
  • Liaise and provide guidance with document owners or delegates on all documentation
  • Final review to ensure documentation meets company standards prior to printing and distribution
  • Submit regulatory CPP documents and training programs to Regulatory bodies for approval or review
  • Distribute (paper and electronic) CPP documents to various access and control software
  • Prepare and upload training presentations to training software
  • Maintain compliance matrix database of applicable regulations and CPP documents
  • Provide controlled copies of documentation on request for bids, audits, etc.
  • Provide notification to all personnel of CPP changes (additions, amendments, and deletions)
  • Review any other company documentation as requested
