About The Position
Leafwell is seeking MDs and DOs to certify patients for medical cannabis. The role involves per-diem availability in the Florida market, specifically in the Orlando clinic. Leafwell believes in the therapeutic potential of cannabis as medicine and aims to increase access, research, and education. The company utilizes telemedicine to provide healthcare from home, gathers real-world evidence for research on cannabis product effectiveness, and educates healthcare professionals and patients about cannabis as medicine.
Requirements
- Licensed MD or DO
- Belief in cannabis as medicine
- Willingness to work in Florida market and Orlando clinic
- Availability for per-diem work
- Ability to provide a high-quality, compassionate patient experience
- Willingness to participate in ongoing education and research programs

- Licensed in multiple states for telehealth platform
Responsibilities
- Meet with new patients in-person at our clinics and/or events
- Provide a high quality, compassionate patient experience
- Recertify your renewal patients via telehealth 7 months after the initial certification.
- Work collaboratively with our in-house patient care team to deliver a great end to end experience.
- Become part of Leafwell’s ongoing education and research programs, helping to demystify cannabis as medicine.
