Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
  • Effective communication skills with a diverse group of people.
  • Active listening, ability to build rapport, and empathy with patients.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills to address potential patient concerns or rebuttals.
  • Collaborative spirit, building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients.
  • Results-driven with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and customers, identify their needs, and ensure a memorable experience by offering promotional products and services.
  • Answer customer inquiries and gather necessary information to facilitate sales.
  • Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, enter new patient history and personal information into the system.
  • Complete pre-tests, including obtaining brief medical history, performing non-contact tonometry, auto-refraction, visual acuity tests, color tests, stereopsis tests, and amsler grid tests.
  • Assist the Management Team with patient complaint resolution and provide job status updates, ensuring all patient expectations are met.
  • Ensure brand standards are maintained through basic housekeeping duties.
  • Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and edge stock lenses to expedite eyeglass delivery.
  • Ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Maintain brand standards in the lab area and notify management of equipment malfunctions, incomplete orders, or incorrect lenses.
  • Track delivery time commitments to patients (Now Service, Ready When Promised) to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and required.
