Doctor of Optometry - Work Remotely - North Carolina Licensed
About The Position
Teleoptometric Service, P.C. offers an exciting opportunity for licensed Doctors of Optometry to provide comprehensive eye exams using patented remote technology. This role offers flexibility and expanded options for patients. We are seeking North Carolina licensed Optometrists to join our panel, providing a primary or supplemental income source from home. As an Independent Contractor with DigitalOptometrics, you will examine patients in your licensed state(s) through remote technology, communicating verbally and visually via specialized video conference technology. With support from an Ophthalmic Technician, you will analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses, all from a remote location. We provide necessary credentialing and training, along with competitive compensation. Multiple state licenses are a plus.
Requirements
- North Carolina state licensed Optometrist.
- Ability to work as an Independent Contractor with DigitalOptometrics.
- Proficiency in communicating with patients verbally and visually through video conference technology.
- Ability to analyze eye health and generate prescriptions.

- Multiple state licenses are a plus.
