About The Position
DigitalOptometrics LLC is seeking West Virginia state licensed Optometrists for a remote opportunity in Tele-Optometry. This role allows licensed Optometrists to conduct comprehensive eye exams using patented remote technology, supporting flexibility for the doctor and expanded options for patients. The position is structured as an Independent Contractor role, allowing doctors to examine patients in their licensed state(s) regardless of their own location. Communication with patients is conducted via specialized video conference technology, and with the support of Ophthalmic Technicians, doctors will analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses from a remote location. The company provides credentialing and training assistance, along with competitive compensation.
Requirements
- Licensed Doctor of Optometry
- West Virginia state licensed Optometrist
- Ability to examine patients remotely using specialized video conference technology
- Ability to analyze eye health and generate prescriptions
