About The Position

John W. Stone Oil Distributor, LLC is seeking a Dockman for their Fourchon Facility. This role involves loading and discharging liquid cargo, performing bunkering operations, completing necessary paperwork, and maintaining the facility. The position is full-time with on-site sleeping accommodations available. The work schedule is 14 days on (alternating 7 days of day shift and 7 days of night shift) followed by 7 full days off, with 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Valid Driver's License.
Reliable Transportation to and from Work.
High School Diploma (or its equivalent).
Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Basic Computer Skills.
At least Six Months of Heavy Manual-Labor Work Experience.
Able to work unsupervised.

Nice To Haves

Fuel or oilfield experience.
Crane and Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

Load and discharge liquid cargo to and from docks, vessels, trucks, tote tanks, and shore tanks.
Perform tankering/bunkering operations.
Complete and submit paperwork, including sales tickets and daily reports, in a timely manner.
Offload trash and used oil filters from vessels.
Update job logs on an ongoing basis.
Maintain cleanliness of the facility.
Operate a fork lift.
Maintain equipment.
Troubleshoot problems.
Track inventory.
Repackage inventory.
Adhere to and comply with company and safety policies, United States Coast Guard Regulations, and environmental laws and regulations.
Other duties that may be requested by Director, Supervisor or Executive Management as needed.
