About The Position
Manitoulin Transport is seeking a Dock Worker for their Dryden location. This role involves loading and unloading inbound and outbound trailers, distributing freight to P&D Drivers, documenting overages, shortages, and damages, reweighing and cubing freight, and maintaining a clean yard and warehouse. The position requires heavy lifting and adherence to Health & Safety and Company policies to ensure the safe, claims-free movement and sorting of freight. The shift is Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must work well with others and take direction
- Must be able to think on your feet in a high pace environment
- Must have forklift experience
- Able to solve problems when they arrive
- Heavy lifting required
- Ability to follow Health & Safety and Company policies
