About The Position

Lightning Logistics LLC is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable dock worker for the PM shift. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. The dock worker unloads trailers, sorts and handles freight, reports discrepancies and damage, processes paperwork, uses a forklift to move freight throughout the terminal, and helps drivers load trucks.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be self-motivated and reliable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be available Monday through Friday, 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers.
• Sort and handle freight.
• Report discrepancies and damaged freight.
• Process paperwork.
• Use a forklift to move freight throughout the terminal.
• Help drivers load trucks.
