The Dock Worker will play a vital role in keeping operations running efficiently by safely moving materials and preparing shipments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous forklift operating experience.
- Ability to read shipping documents and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, move, and organize materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Read and interpret shipping labels, work orders, and packing instructions.
- Verify shipping information and consolidate pallets based on delivery destinations.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks while ensuring products are handled carefully.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock and warehouse environment.
- Work closely with team members to meet shipping and production deadlines.
