About The Position

This position involves operating safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures. The Dock Worker will read customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped. Responsibilities include loading/unloading containers, lifting materials, verifying and receiving POs and BOLs, counting and labeling, and packing and/or shipping materials in compliance with DOT and Carlile policies and procedures. The role also involves consolidating boxes and pallets for shipment, noting damaged freight, and maintaining good housekeeping standards. The Dock Worker will prepare and prioritize orders for shipment, including delivery documents, and complete day-to-day activities as assigned based on customer needs.
