About The Position

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a Dock Worker for their afternoon shift. This role involves loading and unloading trailers, distributing freight, documenting discrepancies, reweighing and cubing freight, and maintaining a clean warehouse and yard. The position requires the ability to follow health and safety policies and company policies, and to handle freight claims-free. Heavy lifting may be required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliability for future growth with our Company

• Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
• Forklift experience
• Able to solve problems when they arrive
• Ability to follow Health and safety policies along with our Company policies

Responsibilities

• Loading/Unloading inbound and outbound trailers
• Distributing freight to P&D Drivers
• Documenting overages, shortages, and damages
• Reweighing and cubing freight
• Keeping the yard and warehouse clean
• Movement and sorting of freight
