About The Position
This role involves the physical loading, unloading, and staging of freight. Key responsibilities include ensuring all paperwork is accurate and processed promptly, checking incoming shipments for correctness, and safely loading freight within vehicles to prevent damage.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Forklift certifiable

- Experience loading/unloading commercial vehicles & staging freight is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading, and staging of freight on motor carriers and in dock facilities
- Complete and processes appropriate paperwork
- Ensure all freight paperwork is complete and processed timely
- Perform physical loading, unloading, and staging of freight
- Check shipments received for correct items, counts, packing, crating, and tagging
- Ensure safe and proper loading of freight within each vehicle (bracing, strapping, labeling freight, etc.) to minimize the possibility of damaged freight
