About The Position

The main purpose of this position is to supervise the transloading of materials from rail cars into trucks and vice versa. This is a safety sensitive position. Supervises Dock Laborers and a varied amount of temporary labors in the transloading of freight. Ensures that product is transloaded correctly and proper procedures and safety codes are followed by all personnel. Ensures machinery and equipment is properly maintained and operated correctly. Ensures dock is kept clean, secure and operated in accordance with OSHA standards. Assists customers with any questions, problems, or customer service issues. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Requirements

Safety sensitive position
Supervisory experience
Experience in transloading freight
Knowledge of proper procedures and safety codes
Ability to ensure machinery and equipment is properly maintained and operated correctly
Ability to ensure dock is kept clean, secure and operated in accordance with OSHA standards
