Requirements
- Weekday availability through August
- Mix of weekday close and weekend availability in September and October
- Be polite, responsible, friendly, hard-working
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Comfort working outdoors and around water
Nice To Haves
- Some experience with watersports
- Multi lingual skills
- CPR and First Aid certification
Responsibilities
- Helping customers on the dock with canoes, kayaks, and gear
- Answering questions about how to paddle, the river, and any other concerns
- Loading and unloading of kayaks, canoes and paddleboards off storage racks and boat trailers (16+)
- Showing clients basic paddling technique
- Being aware of safety hazards on the dock and on the water and emergency response protocols
- Minor repairs and maintenance of boats, cleaning and desk work such as using a cash register
