About The Position

Bassham Foods is hiring a Dock Quality Control Associate to help ensure every order leaving our dock is accurate, complete, and ready for delivery. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage quality control processes in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Above-average computer skills.
Above-average reading and writing skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to take ownership of the quality of orders leaving the dock.
Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment.

Responsibilities

Verify that the correct products and quantities have been pulled by order selectors.
Ensure labels are properly placed on packaging and are forward-facing.
Identify damaged product and make sure it is removed and replaced before orders are loaded for delivery.
Assist with the flow of product from selectors to the loading dock and onto delivery trucks.
Assist with cycle counting as needed.
Train as a back-up for the dock office duties.
Select small wares using a manual jack.
