About The Position

The Dock Material Handler loads and unloads materials on the dock and moves them to designated areas. The role arranges goods for shipment to individual stores, moves store-return goods to the After-Market sales area as needed, and assists drivers with collecting trash and donations from various sites and delivering them to designated locations. The employee helps keep the dock clean and safe and performs other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time position at Goodwill North Central Texas in Fort Worth, Texas, paying $14.82 per hour. Work hours and days vary, with two days off per week.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write and apply basic math skills.
• Provide documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements.
• Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Ability to walk, stoop, stand, reach, pull, push, and consistently lift 50 pounds; some heavier lifting is required with assistance.
• Good physical stamina and sufficient mobility to cover the assigned area.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification; forklift training may be provided depending on availability and openings.
