Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience is preferred.
• Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck and/or forklift.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
• Must be able to become certified on operating equipment including powered industrial truck and forklift.
• Must be able to problem solve and perform basic math.
• Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Must have good attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.
• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions including cold temperatures.
• Must practice good personal hygiene.
• Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operating a powered industrial truck and forklift safely.
• Performing pre-operational inspections of the powered industrial truck and forklift.
• Operating a scanner and learning the required transaction process.
• Picking both fresh and frozen products.
• Loading and unloading trucks along with completing the necessary documentation.
• Performing maintenance and good housekeeping duties.
• Operating in cooler and freezer environments.
• Repairing and sorting pallets as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
