About The Position

This is a busy warehouse position where you could rotate working in Dry, Cooler, and Frozen areas. Loaders play an essential role in the warehouse to transportation process in ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong attention to detail to ensure all items are loaded and in the correct order. A $750 Night Shift Hiring Bonus is offered, with $250 paid at 3 months and $500 paid at 6 months.

Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift up to 65lbs.
• High school or equivalent education.

Nice To Haves

• Trailer loading/unloading experience.
• Pallet jack experience.
• Warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review load sheets to determine what needs to be loaded onto the truck.
• Arrange pallets and boxes picked by days in order of routes to effectively add in the correct spot with the night orders.
• Use a pallet map of the trailer to load products onto the trailer in reverse order of stops.
• Place pallets and boxes from the day shift pickers next to or on top of the pallets for the same stops from the night shift.
• Ensure all boxes and pallets for that truck are loaded.
• Watch for correct placement of products in relation to the bulkhead to prevent product spoilage.
• Secure the load to ensure products are stable and will not shift during transport.
• Perform final load checks.
• Scan temperature tubes to ensure correct temperature for products.
• Take a picture of the load.
• Notify the shag driver that the load is complete.
