About The Position

As a dockworker, your main responsibility is to load and unload product onto and off of trucks and trailers. This role requires the ability to work independently, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and follow safety regulations. You will be responsible for staging doors and product for efficient truck loading and reporting any issues with product to supervisors.

Requirements

• Ability to frequently exert 50-65 pounds of force.
• Ability to frequently lift, pull, push, and carry product.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Ability to maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Ability to follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Ability to report accidents immediately to a supervisor.
• Ability to complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
• Ability to stage doors and product in designated areas.
• Ability to notify line supervisors when a product is missing or needs to be manufactured.
