About The Position

As a highly valued member of the Forney, TX Team, this role will support AS A DOCK LEAD, YOU WILL: Provide daily/weekly balancing of skilled labor across the parts department Oversee material handlers and kitters in achieving department and site performance objectives that include safety, cost, service, quality, and efficiency Convey relevant information to Supervisors, Manager and other employees Assist management by driving continuous improvement activities within the parts department Create written and oral instructions that are needed in the parts area Ensure understanding of company KPIs and take actions to meet them Other duties/projects as assigned

Requirements

Shipping and/or receiving background is required
Must be able to develop an in-depth knowledge of Manhattan (WMS), and knowledge should be extensive enough to train others
Good computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating VLM (vertical lift module)
Knowledge of Manhattan WMS
Knowledge of SOP’s and WI’s
