About The Position

Looking for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial-minded salesperson to cover a territory consisting of Augusta, GA to Columbia, SC. The position will consist of selling material handling equipment along with dock levelers, doors, truck restraints, high-speed doors, and other related equipment. Commercial Dock and Door is a leading distributor of commercial loading docks and overhead doors. We have a family culture that continuously invests in its people. Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in Industrial Sales preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred; or 3+ years of related experience.
• Current unrestricted driver’s license
• Mechanically minded
• Able to operate independently
• Great customer service and account management skills
• Relentless drive and a competitive motivation to win

Responsibilities

• Develop solid client relationships and serve as a technical consultant to customers.
• Develop and grow your exclusive sales territory through consistent communication, familiarity with local market conditions and competitor dynamics.
• Maintain up to date technical knowledge of overhead doors, dock levelers and associated equipment lines.
• Provide estimates to customers for all regular work and repairs.
• Ability to read and understand building blueprints to quote new construction products.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Motivated to be successful in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
