Performs various tasks necessary to lead and direct departmental activities.

Responsibilities

• Be able to perform all duties of a Forklift Operator
• Leadership over Ship/Rec Forklift Operators for assigned dock area
• Full ownership and responsibilities of JDE Ship Confirm process
• Full ownership and responsibilities of Trancollector Ship Confirm process
• Full ownership and responsibilities of JDE Receiving process
• Full ownership and responsibilities of Trancollector Receiving process
• Full ownership and responsibilities of creating BOLs
• Full ownership and responsibilities of generation and proper flow of shipping paperwork (Outbound – BOLs, Manifest, ASNs, Delivery Tickets; In Process – Loading tallies; Inbound – Purchase receiver)
• Full ownership and responsibilities of receiving of materials and expendable supplies
• Full ownership and responsibilities of coordinating and communicating inbound and outbound trailer needs
• Full ownership and responsibilities of coordinating dock door # assignments to trailer # assignments
• Full ownership and responsibilities of real-time management of the shipping board at the dock doors
• Direction of work force as assigned by supervisor.
• Training of employees as assigned by supervisor.
• Actively participate in housekeeping requirements for the department.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
