As we continue to scale our global platform, the Dock Clerk will play a critical role in managing the accurate and efficient flow of goods through the receiving and shipping docks. The Dock Clerk is a key player in managing the flow of goods in and out of the receiving department, ensuring proper communication with various teams, tracking shipments, managing schedules, and adhering to all safety and operational policies. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic warehouse environment. The Dock Clerk delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Requirements

  • Prior Dock Clerk experience with demonstrated ability to manage receiving documentation including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications; experience with warehouse management systems such as FMS, DMS, and TMS preferred.
  • Certified or willing to become PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) trained.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with a winning record of updating and recording data accurately.
  • Physical ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift and regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; availability to work flexible hours and days including overtime as required.

  • Experience with Manhattan and Oracle systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with professional sports leagues and teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate directly with operations teams, truck drivers, and other warehouse workers to supervise dock workflow and ensure efficient, timely loading and unloading operations.
  • Maintain clear communication with cross-functional departments including planning and transportation to support smooth, uninterrupted shipping operations.
  • Partner with team members to identify and resolve discrepancies or damage at the dock, coordinating necessary corrective actions promptly.
  • Ensure all receiving documents — including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists — are complete and accurate to prevent errors in logistics and product distribution that could impact the fan experience.
  • Physically verify goods against shipping documents to confirm quantities and descriptions are correct, safeguarding product integrity for the end consumer.
  • Contribute to the on-time delivery of officially licensed merchandise by maintaining efficient dock operations and minimizing processing delays.
  • Support accurate order fulfillment by maintaining precise data records and inventory control system entries throughout the receiving process.
  • Utilize inventory control systems, barcode scanners, and RFID systems to verify and track goods, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and processing speed.
  • Leverage warehouse management systems including FMS, DMS, and TMS to streamline dock operations and proactively surface issues before they escalate.
  • Observe, report, and help resolve loading discrepancies and damage incidents, applying analytical thinking to root-cause identification and continuous improvement.
  • Bring a solutions-oriented mindset to a fast-paced environment, adapting to fluctuating volume and operational demands with agility.
  • Oversee the loading of containers and packages at the docks, ensuring goods are properly and safely loaded onto transportation vehicles in compliance with all operational policies.
  • Accurately sum up, record, and update data across systems, maintaining a high standard of data integrity throughout all dock-related processes.
  • Demonstrate dependability and reliability by consistently meeting deadlines and fulfilling shift requirements, including overtime as necessary.
  • Operate as a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certified team member — or actively pursue certification — to safely support dock operations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
  • Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance.
