Requirements

Valid Driver License
High School completion or equivalent
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone etiquette
Detail-oriented, organized
Typing and ten-key skills required
Analytical thinker and problem-solver
Ability to multi-task and react to change productively
Ability to read and distinguish numerical values such as pounds, pieces, and dollar amounts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
Excellent attendance

Nice To Haves

Transportation industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

Determine and apply proper freight charges and splits (if required) for shipments moving daily throughout the system
Understand the various pricing schedules, rules, and agreements between Dohrn Transfer and our customers and partner carriers
Understand the proper National Motor Freight Classification descriptions; including, but not limited to determining densities
Analyze the inspections performed around the system and effectively communicate to ensure a successful operation
Maintain confidentiality
Perform other duties as needed
