Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between works and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Certification to operate equipment.
  • Must have established record of excellent attendance and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Examines loads delivered to verify quantity and type of material.
  • Writes tickets showing quantity and type of material, truck number, job location, and time.
  • Reports amount of materials transported.
  • Maintains clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
